SHIPPING & RETURNS POLICY

local delivery policy

All our products are hand made, inorder to maintain the integrity of products and our workforce, delivery takes 3 days (business days do not include weekends or public holidays) . Delivery hours are between 10am to 5pm. Our domestic delivery prices depend on the delivery zones here.

international shipping policy

We ship to select countries worldwide; options appear at checkout.

  • Processing takes 3 business days (excluding weekends/holidays).
  • International shipping is available on all products starting at $35.00 which is calculated at checkout based on destination, weight, and size.
  • Delivery estimates:
    Standard: 7–21 business days
    Express: 3–7 business days
  • Customs & Duties: Customers are responsible for all import duties, taxes, or local fees. Kipato is not responsible for customs delays.
  • Damaged Items: Report within 7 days to support@kipato.com with photos and your order number.
  • Returns: International customers cover return shipping unless the item is defective.

We will gladly accept exchanges via store credit for unworn, undamaged products purchased at full price, or products received with manufacturing defects (Please note: Due to the handmade nature of our products, slight imperfections and variations may occur. These details are part of the uniqueness and charm of each item and should not be considered defects).
For an exchange via store credit to be approved it must meet all the following criteria:

  • The item was shipped to an address in the Kenya (we are unable to accept returns from other international countries at this time).
  • Items are unworn, undamaged, and in their original condition with all packaging included.
  • Item/s were bought at full price.
  • The exchange request is initiated within 7 days of delivery.
  • The item arrived damaged or defective and was reported immediately.
  • The return is approved within 7 days from the delivery date.

    Please note that we do not offer refunds on returned items; approved returns are eligible for exchange or store credit only.

Pre Order Policy

We carefully craft each piece with love and attention to detail. To ensure the highest quality, items out of stock are available via pre-order.

  • Timeline: Pre-orders typically take 7-10 days.
  • Sizing: Please specify your size when ordering. Our rings are available for pre-order in sizes 3–13.
  • Shipping: Orders containing both pre-order and ready-to-ship items will ship together once the handcrafted piece is ready.
  • Unique Character: As our brass jewelry is handmade, you may expect slight, beautiful variations making your piece truly one-of-a-kind.
  • Payment & Returns: Full payment is required upfront. Pre-orders are non-refundable, but we offer exchanges or store credit per our Return Policy.
